Invitational Regatta for the Hoag Cup

2009 Race Results

The Invitational Regatta for the Hoag Cup is a biennial three-day sailing competition in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Newport Beach, that brings together top caliber yachts, including some of the fastest off-shore racers over 50 feet in length and Transpac 52 Class boats.

Hoag Hospital Foundation is the event’s overall manager, as well as it’s beneficiary. Newport Harbor Yacht Club (NHYC) and Balboa Yacht Club (BYC) also combine resources to manage the races and on-the-water activities.

Since the inception of the Invitational Regatta for the Hoag Cup in 2005, over $900,000 has been raised for Hoag Hospital.

The Invitational Regatta for the Hoag Cup will return summer 2011.
