Entries are by invitation with no entry fee, and will be limited to fast monohull yachts of 50’ LOA and larger – the race will be held about a month in advance of the Transpac Yacht Race and after the Cabo and Enesenada Races.
Races will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 12-14. Multiple races are planned for each day on windward leeward courses appropriate to large racing yachts.
Starts and finishes will be in the area adjacent to the Newport pier to facilitate spectator viewing.
Invited boats will be asked to display sponsor identification as appropriate within the forward 20
percent of the hull and to permit a limited number of "ride alongs" from the supporting sponsors sponsor. Crew members may be asked to wear clothing provided by the sponsors.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Hoag Heart and Vascular Institute and Hoag Hospital Foundation.
For more information, please contact Race Chairmen Glenn Highland at
